August 2026: Binti Product Features and Enhancements
August brought updates designed to make everyday work in Binti more connected, efficient, and easier to manage. This month, we introduced more helpful AI guidance, expanded notification options, and made reporting and outreach tools more flexible.
Here is what’s new.
AI & Transcription
✨ Get Started Faster with Ask Binti AI
We’ve made Ask Binti AI easier to explore by adding suggested questions directly to the experience.
Users will now see examples of questions ABA can help answer, such as summarizing case notes, reviewing reference feedback, identifying household information, and drafting home study assessment summaries.
What’s new:
- Suggested questions appear when users first open Ask Binti AI.
- Each suggestion includes a button so users can get started with one click.
- Questions are designed around information ABA can reliably access from applicant data, case notes, and form responses.
This update makes it easier to discover what Ask Binti AI can do and start getting useful answers right away.
📱 A Better AI Transcription Experience on Mobile
We optimized the AI Transcription workflow for phones and smaller screens, making it easier for workers to record and manage documentation while on the go.
Recording controls now fit more naturally on mobile screens, content stays within the page, and dropdowns no longer cause unexpected zooming on iOS. We also improved header navigation so search and other controls remain easy to access.
These updates create a smoother experience for workers using AI Transcription from a phone or tablet.
Family Finding
📣 More Flexible Bulk Outreach
Bulk Outreach templates can now include customizable free-text merge fields, giving agencies more flexibility to personalize communications without creating separate templates.
For example, a template could include fields for a case number, worker title, or other information that varies between outreach efforts.
Multiple free-text fields can be included in the same template using unique labels, making reusable templates more adaptable to agency workflows.
Family Finding Search Exports
The Family Finding Searches CSV now includes Total Connections Found, bringing this key dashboard metric into exported reports as well.
These enhancements make exports more useful for focused reporting, review, and offline analysis.
Placements & Care Management
✍️ Supervisor Signature Notifications for Care Management
We expanded supervisor signature notifications to Care Management.
Supervisors can now receive email notifications when child requirement documents are ready for their signature, based on their existing notification preferences within My Account.
This brings the notification experience closer in line with Licensing and helps supervisors identify documents ready for review without relying on additional follow-up.
🏠 More Accurate Applicant Data Progress
Placement Information managed through the Placement Information page now contributes to the overall Applicant Data completion percentage.
Workers continue to have a single, high-level indicator of application progress even when required information is completed across different areas of Binti.
Licensing
Staff Requirements Exports
Staff Requirements CSV downloads now respect the selected Current Staff, Former Staff, or All Staff tab as well as active filters.
👥 Smoother Staff Requirements Navigation
Filters on the Staff Requirements Dashboard now stay applied when users move between Current Staff, Former Staff, and All Staff.
Workers can move between views without repeatedly entering the same search criteria, making it easier to review and compare staff requirement information.
Service Referral Management
📋 Clearer Service Referral Information
Service Contracts associated with a referral are now displayed on separate lines instead of appearing together in a comma-separated list.
For referrals with several contracts, this creates a cleaner and much easier-to-scan view of the services associated with the referral.
In Summary
These August updates are focused on reducing extra steps, improving visibility, and giving teams more useful tools for managing their work across Binti. We’re excited to continue making everyday workflows easier so teams can spend more time focused on children and families.
